On the 22nd November there will be a gentlemans eveing
held at the club from 7.30 the tickets are £10 and
cover a hilarious comedy night with Geoff Jukes and
some sensual lady dancers.

80s Disco evening - 22nd September

Can you remember the music, clothes, and the movies that defined the era? Men in polyester suits with brightly patterned nylon shirts, shoes with chunky high heels, and women in body hugging, nylon dresses. If you can remember nights underneath ceilings with glittery revolving balls, whilst a live disc jockey played albums on a turntable, ‘The Hustle’, ‘The Bump’ and The Latin Hustle Bump’ were all the rage then this is for you.
And if you can’t remember come along anyway!
Ok well it’s time for everyone to strut their funky stuff and Bournemouth Oakmeadians end of summer / early season. Starting at 8pm and going on to late an almost retro 80’s entry price of £5 will get you in as well as a light buffet.

Heineken Club 10's Festival

We are privieged at Oaksmeadians have been asked to host one of the venues for the Heineken Club 10's Festival on Saturday 18th October 2008.
Best get this highprofile event in your diaries now, this will be an all day event. This competition is seen by the Sponsors as perfect prelude to the European competition. It is the first ever national club 10s tournament in England with Oaks one of 16 different clubs chosen to host matches for over 3500 amateur players.

This Section is open to all Members, their family and friends who enjoy a glass of plonk, and want to know more about the fermentation of the juice of freshly gathered grapes, the fermentation of which has been carried through in the district of its origin and according to local tradition and practice.
