Come and join a rapidly growing club at Bournemouth Oakmeadians Acorns, and be part of an opportunity for both boys & girls, between the ages of 5 & 18, to train and play rugby from September through to May. This year we importantly partnered with the English Premier League side London Irish as one of their training academies. Give is access and support from some of the best resources in the game
Boys and Girls will be coached in all aspects of the game by caring adults who are CRB Registered, and they will also be taught the importance of taking part in a team game, and not just winning at all costs. The clubhouse overlooks the pitches, in a lovely woodland setting in Meyrick Park, Bournemouth.
Don’t forget that the clubhouse is open on Sunday mornings when any Acorn team is training or has a match. So rather than racing home, or standing in the rain pop up & have a cuppa and a bacon sandwich in the warm! We start serving from approx. 10am so don’t wait until after the children have finished to wander on up for a chat….
And the shop is usually open for Oaks merchandise and to replace those forgotten & lost kit items such as gum shields & socks, all at reasonable prices which help the club. If something is not in stock please ask about ordering it in…
