Oakmeadians Ladies RFC was founded in 1999
and have been an increasingly successful team since. We are
currently playing in South West Division One.
We predominately play 15-a-side rugby union and were
semi-finalists in the National Challenge Cup in 2004. We
are also a successful 7's team with a collection of
accolades including Avon Plate Winners 2004, Oakmeadians
Cup Winners 2005 and Lytchett Cup Winners 2005.
The team are
always looking for new players; the only requirement is
that you're 17 years old or over as no experience is
necessary. We are coached by Jo Poore, who is an
experienced and qualified coach. Jo has been capped
13 times having represented England's National Women's
team.
So if rugby is your thing, come and join this fun
and social team. We train on Wednesdays at 6.30pm at
Meyrick Park, Bournemouth and play on Sundays. For further
