Our Midi Section...
Midi comprises U10's, U11's and U12's. Our midi section concentrate on fitness and fun continuing to progress their rugby skills but also are now learning the unique discipline and values come with rugby.
All train on Sunday mornings from 10am at either Slades Farm or Meyrick Park. Matches are played at home in Meyrick Park or away at various other local clubs. Please see pitch plan or fixtures list for more details. Oakmeadians RFC are always happy to welcome new players to any of our age groups.
The U10's are a friendly bunch who love to get muddy at rugby. They will continue to progress through the season learning hand to eye coordination and contact skills. Head Coach Richard Bannister has a great team to assist him through the season. For more information please contact Karen Bader, Manager on 07736 941662.
Oaks U11's are a strong team willing to work hard in training and matches. They continue to grow on and off the field. Paddy Padfield has been the Head Coach for a number of years and is teaching the team a great rugby ethos.
For more information please contact Managers, Vicky Davey 07411 404474 or Micky Davey 07782 326308.
The U12's are concentrating on the individual needs of each player, ensuring they are playing at the right level. This is especially important as player safety becomes even more of an issue whilst playing contact rugby.
The coaching team insist on the hightest standards of behaviour and seek parents support in ensuring they play in the spirit of the game and for the enjoyment of everyone.
