Oakmeadians U14s Team Profile
The U13s pride themselves on their team spirit and openness in welcoming all comers to our side. From a core of players that formed 4 or 5 years ago, every season we have successful integrated new players into the team. We now have around 20 registered players, but we are always looking for more, especially as this season we have a large number of fixtures. The key ethos for the team at this age is enjoyment and that's what we aim for, therefore if you turn up for training you get to play in the fixtures, that have been arranged with the local clubs. This doesn't mean we don't train and play hard, we do! During the season we arrange for some of the more senior coaches to help with training sessions, this keeps both the players and the coaches on their feet. More importantly it is a way of assessing the year on year improvement in the player performance.
Touring
We regularly entertain touring sides that come down to this part of the country and this year we are also hoping to take a couple of short away trips ourselves, one to in October to Bath / Bradford upon Avon and one in April / May 2010 TBC.

Summer Training
May to August we play some touch rugby either at Meyrick or if the weather is nice down the beach on Thursdays (18:15 to 19:15), we also get together on Sundays (10:30 to 12:00), weather permitting, for fitness training.
Season Training
Sunday 10 till 12 on non Match Days, Thursday 18:15 till 19:15
Match Days
At Home : 9:30 till approx 12:30
Away depends on the opponents, but aim is to always arrive 30mins before KO. so normally 9.30 to 10:00
